China signs $170m economic, trade projects with African countries

Fourteen trade and economic cooperation projects and agreements worth nearly 170 million U.S. dollars were signed between China and various African countries on Thursday during the Promotion Conference for China-China Economic and Trade Cooperation. Africa, held in the Chinese city of Changsha, in the province of Hunan (center).

According to the Korean site Xinhua, these agreements cover many areas such as regional cooperation, strategic agreements, project financing, cooperation in investments and trade supply.

He also informs that the commerce departments of six Chinese provinces have also jointly signed an agreement to advance economic cooperation and trade exchanges with African countries.

The conference recorded the presence of twenty-nine diplomatic envoys from 15 African countries, including Ethiopia, Angola, Ghana and Kenya.
