The Israeli Prime Minister has sent a letter to the Moroccan Sovereign, King Mohammed VI, in which he brings to his attention the decision of the State of Israel to « recognize Morocco’s sovereignty over the territory of Western Sahara », according to a press release from the Royal Palace published this Monday, July 17.

Binyamin Netanyahu indicated, in his correspondence, that this position of his country will be “reflected in all the acts and the relevant documents of the Israeli Government”.

Just as he assured that the said decision will be “transmitted to the United Nations, to the regional and international organizations of which Israel is a member, as well as to all the countries with which Israel maintains diplomatic relations”.

The press release ends by informing that, in his letter to the Sovereign, the Israeli Prime Minister informed that Israel is examining positively « the opening of a Consulate in the city of Dakhla », and this within the framework of the concretization of this decision. of state.
