The 30-year-old son of Ethiopian immigrants, born in Toronto, has expressed concern about the plight of the people of Tigray. “My heart is broken for my people of Ethiopia, as innocent civilians ranging from small children to the elderly are senselessly murdered and entire villages are displaced by fear and destruction,” he said. he shares.
The pledged donation will go to the World Food Program. According to corroborating sources, several million civilians have been displaced by the fighting and are said to be dependent on humanitarian aid.
