Morocco has been able to get its hands on two Dutchmen on file with Interpol, announced Wednesday, August 9, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).

An arrest took place in the city of Meknes, with the support of the regional division of the judicial police of Fez and the national territory control services. The suspect, who is the subject of a red notice issued by Interpol, is believed to be involved in an attempted premeditated murder by firearm in criminal network activities.

According to the DGSN, he was caught in the act of Belgian identity theft, since he had at his disposal false Belgian papers.

The second Dutch national, of Turkish origin, arrested at Fès-Saïs airport, is suspected of having participated in international heroin trafficking operations, as part of an organized criminal network, active in Madrid and Galicia. Interpol was seized about it by the Spanish judicial authorities.
