Côte d’Ivoire: Government grants five mining exploration permits

On Wednesday, the Ivorian authorities adopted five decrees, each granting a mining research permit, according to a press release issued at the end of the meeting. The decree grants an exploration permit for nickel, rare earths, cobalt, gold and chromium to SOCIETE IVOIRIENNE D’EXPLORATION ET DE RECHERCHE SARL, abbreviated to SIER SARL, in the departments of M’Batto, Toumodi and Taabo. A decree concerns the granting of a research permit, valid for manganese, to the company “NAVA RESOURCES CI SA” in the Minignan department. MINES ET EXPLORATION EN AFRIQUE DE L’OUEST SARL”, abbreviated to “MINEX WEST AFRICA SARL”, has been awarded a prospecting permit, valid for gold, in the Bangolo and Duekoué departments; and “PARNASSA INVEST SAS” for nickel, silver, colbalt, gold and copper, in the Biankouma department. Another decree granting a research permit, valid for lithium, concerns the company “KHALEESI RESOURCES SARL”, in the departments of Agboville and Adzopé.
